A little bit about me

Hello there.

I’m a trainee newspaper journalist studying at Cardiff School of Journalism. I have almost made it through a stressful but rewarding nine months of media law, public admin, 100wpm shorthand, online journalism and reporting for our training paper, the Cardiff Evening News and I’m now hungry for the real deal.

I’ll be using this blog to update you on Online Journalism, work experience and generally anything of interest I come across.

I’m from a small market town called Romsey near Southampton. I studied French at the University of Bristol where I got the opportunity to spend a year in sunny Saint Raphael, France teaching 15-20 year-olds and interviewing survivors of the 1959 Malpasset tragedy.

I’ve interned on several regional and local newspapers including the Bristol Evening Post, Media Wales, The Southern Daily Echo, South Wales Evening Post and with the local BBC news.

Thanks for taking a look. Let me know what you think.
